Memory Lane...

Here I am sitting up at midnight and blogging!

It all started with a few calls with my boss and we were working on something together. When I had finished and sent it for review, I somehow started reading some of the old posts on my blog and boy! absolutely not sure how the time went. I kept post hopping (In the meanwhile, my boss reviewed and we ended the call) and smiling at the old posts - some with typo's and some totally whacked ones! But it did bring a lot of memories and I realized we did have some really good times! - be it at work or with my other friends. And the best part is a few of them are still in touch and that is the icing on the cake.

Good night!

Python gone

Another one bites the dust!
Terry Jones of Monty Python kicks the bucket to bring down the curtain on one more Python. Chapman was the first one to go among the 6 and though they split up and started individual careers (with John Cleese arguably the most successful) they always had a huge fan base for their particular sense of humour. Watching those episodes now, remind us how old the Monty Python series is and at the same time how brilliant the sketches were!  They will live long in our memories.

Liverpool Leeds United

Well...it is actually 'Liverpool leads United 1-0 at half time' and that put a smile on my face beacuse of the pun. Apart from that it was rather gloomy as Liverpool stamped their authority on the Premier League this season by winning 2-0 at Anfield which puts then firmly in command of the title. Not that I support United - they looked like the lesser of two evils - but given the reds' run this season, United are the only team to have taken poi nts off them (with a draw) so was hoping for better result.
Watching United against Liverpool was frustrating and tiring at the same time!

Well..it is over and barring a catastrophic drop in form, sadly, Liverpool will be champions!

Songs to listen to...

Got up early and started listening to the old songs that I used to love when I was kid. Some brought amazing memories of childhood and some made me go 'Wow...that's a long time".

And then, there were some gems which I had not listened to in a very very long time. So today, these will play for some time on my playlist among others and those around me are gonna get really tired listening to it!

Koreana - Hand in hand
Bee Gees - Juliet
Kaoma - Lambada
Nicole - ein bisschen frieden
The flying pickets - only you
Markus - Ich will Spass
