The words of the great man...

"I believe I have made the right choice.

"To have gone to Manchester City could have been a great project but in the past few days I have prayed a lot to understand what the right team would be and in the end I have decided to remain here.

"I don't want anything else, I just want to be well and be happy in the place where people love me.

"From this story I have understood how people love me at Milan, the fans and my team-mates have helped me make this choice.

"Milan has always turned down offers for me.

"I always said to everyone to first agree with Milan and then we can talk. But Milan had never accepted an offer for me.

"No member of my family has pushed me to go anywhere.

"I have not had any arguments with my father.

"My family has been very supportive and at no time have they forced me one way or the other.

"There were rumours that this story had come out because I wanted to renew my contract, this is not true.

"I have remained with the team where I am linked by heart.

"Saturday's game was no ordinary game for me.

"I was very emotional.

"Many children brought their drawings that they dedicated to me.

"When I left Sao Paulo to join Milan, a large part of the public criticised me.

"Now here all the fans are there chanting my name.

"Milan is my home, where I am close to and where my heart really is. That is what made me take this decision."

...sad but not true

AC Milan playmaker Kaka has turned down a lucrative move to Manchester City. - This news from the BBC brings a huge grin to my face! Lets hope it stays the same!

"Kaka is a great champion and a great man. He's refused the offer from Manchester City giving privilege to Milan, his companions and his fans" -Berlusconi

What a bloody day! It started out well then slowly took a boring turn and finally ended as a rotten egg! First, had a small tiff which totally irked me, then vented out all my anger and frustration (God, my team lacked any sense, were blind and deaf!) on the field - which is very bad on my part, I know, don't nod your head to it.

Now, am gonna take a break from Soccer and relax for some time - and not expect anything.

Sad but true

"AC Milan have given their Brazilian superstar Kaka permission to talk to Manchester City" - BBC

The sad saga continues with City's relentless pursuit of the Milan Star. This is certainly sad news to people like me, if the deal goes through.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Staying at home for this extended period was worth every second of it. Mom and I wanted to celebrate my Dad's birthday this year in at least a small nice way and so we started...Mom baked a chocolate cake and I got the rest of the stuff done (the gifts and the decorations) and somehow we got everything done on time. And when the clock struck twelve, we went in with the cake and then called sis over the phone, sang 'Happy Birthday' and then cut the prized cake. Then it was party time! Had one helping after another and soon we were all full to the brim. Boy, was that cake heavy! Dad was thrilled with the presents as well (including the one from my friends!)...yawn...time to hit the sack now. Nighty night!

Happy Birthday again, Dad!

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to one and all. This year, like its elder brother brings hope and promises to everybody. But here I am sitting at my desk hammering away trying to get some work done. God! The 2nd of the year and it's bloody boring to work! I drag myself to work on a few tickets only to get distracted by a call. "Yep. Happy New Year...thanks...Are you in a train or something?....". I hang up after a few more minutes.

Now, an IM pops up bringing a smile to my face. The same routine and the a few more lines and off she vanishes to get a cup of tea!...And I am still waiting. /:)

Ahhh....another call! bye for now!
